Ask the Experts SE San Diego 2017

The mission of the American Liver Foundation is to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. In the fulfillment of this mission, ALF’s Pacific Coast Division is holding a half day conference in Southeast San Diego focusing on liver diseases that disproportionately affect the people living in this area.  The attendees will hear from professionals who are experts in their fields and who will disseminate information on liver diseases, newest treatments and disease prevention.

Educational Objectives

  • Identify the best tests, treatment options and natural progression of HBV
  • Evaluate current and new treatment options of HCV
  • Discuss the future impact on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in adults and in adolescence, diagnosis and treatment alternatives
  • Discuss the relationship between HCV and HIV, the best treatment options and the best way to stop the spread of HCV and HIV

RNs, PAs, LVNs, LPNs, NPs, PHNs, Pharm Ds, MDs Clinical & Outreach Staff, Counselors, Case Managers, Program Managers, Patients, Caregivers & Interested Parties.  (4) Continuing Education Credits (CEs) provided for Nurses and Addication Counselors.
